Ex-cop and recent widower Walter “Pops” Washington and his newly paroled son Junior have spent a lifetime living between Riverside and crazy. Now, the NYPD is demanding his signature to close an outstanding lawsuit, the landlord wants him out, the liquor store is closed—and the church won’t leave him alone. When the struggle to keep one of New York City’s last great rent-stabilized apartments collides with old wounds, sketchy new houseguests, and a final ultimatum, it seems that the old days may be dead and gone.

Bio: Pilar is thrilled to be making her Left Edge debut in Between Riverside and Crazy! Some of her favorite credits include Avery in Rapture, Blister, Burn (LPP), Little Red in Into the Woods (LPP), Martha Cratchit/Mabel in Scrooge in Love (LPP), and Mary Lane in Reefer Madness (LHTC). Pilar is studying and training, working towards her goal of becoming a full time actor.
Actor Sandra Ish is a native of the San Francisco Bay Area. After receiving her BFA from California Institute of the Arts, she toured Europe with Rootless Productions performing in Jean Genet's The Maids. Sandra has done commercial, film and voice over work. She has performed in numerous stage productions throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. Some of her favorite roles include Celimene in Moliere’s The Misanthrope, Catherine in Suddenly Last Summer, Mary in The Women, Lysistrata in Lysistrata, various roles in The Good Doctor, Sabrina Daldry in In The Next Room, Mac in Three Viewings, Jean in Left Edge Theatre’s production of Good People as well as various roles in The Big Meal. Sandra currently directs and teaches acting at YAS (Young Actors Studio). Sandra is also an Artistic Associate at Left Edge Theatre.
Jared N. Wright was last seen at Left Edge as Amir in Disgraced. Before that he played Mac in You Got Older. He has been acting in the North Bay for about six years and is also a filmmaker and musician. His indie/electronic band, Tiny Pyramids has played all over the Bay Area and his short films have been nominated for awards in both LA and local Bay Area film festivals. He is the owner of Videobrite Media in Santa Rosa and was just voted Sonoma County's Best Videographer in the North Bay Bohemian for 2018. Most recently he was seen as Dromio of Syracuse in The Comedy Of Errors at the 6th Street Playhouse. Other roles include, Brian in By The Water at Spreckels Performing arts Center, Roland in Constellations in the 6th Street Playhouse Studio Theater, Cheché in Anna In The Tropics (6th St. Playhouse), for which he was nominated for Best Supporting Actor at the SOTA Awards. Herman Einstein/Besso in Capacity, and Bob Lee in The North Plan (Main Stage West).

Playwright
Stephen Adly Guirgis is an American playwright, screenwriter, director, and actor. He is a member and a former co-artistic director of New York City's LAByrinth Theater Company.[1] His plays have been produced both Off-Broadway and on Broadway as well as in the UK. His play Between Riverside and Crazy won the 2015 Pulitzer Prize for Drama.
