Sam works the red-hot reservation line at one of New York City’s most exclusive restaurants—and everyone wants a table. This fast-paced comedy features a whirlwind of 40 characters, all portrayed by only five actors, as they beg, bribe, and bluff their way into the dining room. Our cast doesn't know which personalities they will play until the show begins, & it changes every night! A hilarious behind-the-scenes look at the chaos of fine dining and customer entitlement.
Lindsay John has ALSO been Fully Committed lately either acting in or working shows back to back. Four including this one! Once again she's opened her brain to stuff multiple characters and a randomized selection process! The chaos reign and hilarity ensue!
Argo Thompson
Argo is the Chief Eternal Optimist of The California Theatre and Founding Artistic Director of Left Edge Theatre. He is a fourth generation Santa Rosa who loves all things Sonoma County. Argo is an actor, director and producer with over 100 local credits. His favorites include A Steady Rain, Drumming with Anubis, Angels in America, The Realistic Joneses, Good People, The Princess Bride, Elf, and Fully Committed. Fun fact: Argo competed in the World Air Guitar Championships in Oulu, Finland and is currently the 34 ranked Air Guitarist in the World. #makeairnotwar
Dana Hunt has been performing with Left Edge Theatre since 2023 in shows such as Bootycandy, Everybody, and Airness, including a one-night-only performance in The Last Quiz Night On Earth. He has also stepped into the director’s chair for The Shark Is Broken, and can be found performing Improv and Sketch Comedy with Creature Comedy at The California. He is excited to add his talents to this already stellar cast and bring this insane show to life.
Lulu Thompsxn (she/they) has always been fully committed. As a kid, she learned the finer points of character-acting while watching her dad perform the one-man-show. Then in 2015 Lulu offered up her own rendition of Sam et al. on the Left Edge stage. She is delighted to revisit these forty beloved characters once again!
Other Left Edge credits include The Stinkiest Thing, Either, and Gary: A Sequel to Titus Andronicus. When Lulu isn't onstage she's busy managing the California Theatre's front-of-house. You've probably emailed her about your tickets.
Katalina Motley has been working in professional theatre both on and off stage since she was sixteen, and has been a performer her entire life. Her last appearance on stage was My Dear Dead Drug Lord in 2024, and she is very excited to make her return.
