Meet the director
Lulu Thompsxn (she/they) has spent her whole life making theatre & music in Sonoma County. A constant experimenter & collaborator, she's very familiar with the Left Edge stage; In 2020 LET hosted a collection of short plays (Bodies in Space) co-created by Lulu. In later years she directed & performed in The Stinkiest Thing by Adam Szudrich & Either by Ruby Thomas, & was the music director for Finding Nemo Jr. She's a regular performer in The California Theatre's resident comedy collective Creature Comedy, & occasionally makes appearances in the sexy variety show Forbidden Kiss. When she isn't onstage she's working on the administrative team, managing the California's front-of-house. You've probably emailed her about your tickets.

Lydia Revelos (Carol) is delighted to return to Left Edge Theater (her 1st at The California!) You may have also seen her with blood on her hands as Lady Macbeth in Macbeth(Jacobethan Theatre Workshop) get her head cut off as Marie Antoinette in The Revolutionists (6th Street Playhouse), age backwards as Emma in Betrayal (Roustabout) or have a nervous breakdown as Phyllis in Body Awareness (Main Stage West) among other productions. Thank you to our fantastic team who worked tirelessly ‘fooling’ and to all who local support theatre!

Jess Headington (Janice) (she/her) has worked as an actor, director, and teaching artist in Sonoma County since 2008. She has a BFA in Theatre from Stephens College. Her favorite roles include Henrietta in Silent Sky (6th Street Playhouse), Deb in Barbecue Apocalypse (Spreckels Theater Company), and Teresa in Heroes of the Fourth Turning (Left Edge Theatre). She starred in the award winning short film The Deep End (Henbane Productions).

Be Wilson (Gary) (they/them) is an actor and clown with their certificate in physical theatre from Dell’arte International and a certificated actor from the Santa Rosa Junior College. You may have seen them in various theatre shows across Sonoma county, performing as Grawlix the Clown in the Northbay Cabaret, or if they really want to date themselves, as a member of local improv troupe The Worlds Biggest Comedy Duo. They hope you enjoy this show in particular.

It would be funny if it wasn’t so tragic. It’s the year 400, the wars are over, the country has been stolen by madmen. For the two lowly servants charged with cleaning up the bodies, it feels like the end of the world.
Set just after the blood-soaked conclusion of Shakespeare’s sensationally gruesome tale, this 7-times Tony-award nominated play - part slapstick, part drama - will have you laughing even as you feel the terror.
